  For those who grew up a JW . . .

  does it ever surprise you when you see people that you grew up with as a jw and they're still witnesses?

  i went to school with a lot of those jw kids my age and i can't believe that they continue to be jws when they are free of their parents.. i want to say," you're an adult with a high school education or a ged!

  haven't you figured the scam out?!".

  ENRON Suicide on news....

  the msnbc news alert has yet to go off on this, yet the local morning show just signed off with the breaking news that someone in the "case" has committed suicide.. i've got it on fox tv news right now, yet nothing has been reported.. anyone else hear this yet?.

  Another Vince Foster look alike death? Vince was left-handed and the gun was found on his right side. I guess he threw it there after he shot himself.

  This Enron deal was BIG business with BIG boys. I'll watch O'Reilly tonite and get the plausable explanation.

  Dorian, do want help or suggestions? In your situation I can only say, God help you. Suggestions? Hmmmmm, when emotions over ride reason, hmmmm, it's a trial and error situation. If your both willing to accept the bumpy ride, yeah, why not try it, it may like it. If you don't like bumpy rides then I suggest you get on the next horse and ride out of town. I hope you have a sense of humor.

  Lottery Tickets

  my sister is a jw and she buys lottery tickets and says if she wins i will get half and that makes it ok.we also went to the race track and i placed bets for her with her money,i guess if it`s ok in there eyes it`s not considered gambling!!!.

  i mean hey the magic kingdom will be heer soon anyways,right?

  Amish and shunning

  i just did some research on the amish and found out an interesting fact.shunning created the amish.a group of people broke away from the mennonites in germany because the mennonites would not suport the shunning doctrine.these people became the amish.as a side note, do you guys remember the 60 minutes that delt with shunning.they had amish and jw teenagers that were shunned by their parents because the wanted out of their religion.

  In short, were PAWNS in the game. Our imperfect thoughts and ways are not the ways of our Creator.

  Our role in this pawn game is, which road will WE take take, the narrow or the broad and spacious one?

  In the events in Eden maybe to simple for some to accept. In that, case let them come forward with a better explanation/solution to mankind's imperfect state. Men have existed for thousands of years and their STILL on the same thread mill. Solomon said it correctly when he said, there is nothing new under the sun, and, all is vanity striving after the wind. What he said thousands of years ago still holds true.

  Define spirituality

  define spirituality if you can.. what does the society mean when they talk of being spiritual?.

  all i could figure out is just someone who follows the rules.. so if there is no god is spirituality meaning less or something still desirable?
